Job Responsibilities

  • Manage receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, and accounting of materials, consumables, tools, spares, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, inventory registers, material issue records, and reconciliation statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate material transactions, inventory updates, and reporting through the ERP system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports, consumption analyses, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Conduct periodic physical verification of stores and ensure proper inventory control.
  • Maintain proper documentation of inward and outward material movements, gate passes, challans, and delivery records.
  • Coordinate with project departments, vendors, and transporters for material receipt and dispatch.

Requirements

  • Graduate/Diploma in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in stores and inventory management for hydropower, construction, mining, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in handling construction materials, mechanical spares, consumables, and plant equipment inventories.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP-based inventory and store management systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and material management software.
  • Strong knowledge of stock control, material reconciliation, inventory audits, and store documentation.
  • Good organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with ERP platforms.
  • Familiarity with inventory audits, material accounting, and project store operations in remote project locations.
  • Experience in hydropower, tunnelling, mining, or large infrastructure projects.
